Overview

Vela & Paw creates custom pet portrait artwork and related products, including digital portraits, prints, framed prints, canvas prints, and framed canvas prints.

Our products are personalized and made to order based on the photo, product format, style, and details you provide.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our website. By using our website or placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement.

Your Responsibilities

When using our website or placing an order, you agree to:

• Provide accurate order, contact, billing, and shipping information

• Upload only photos you own or have permission to use

• Ensure any people shown in uploaded photos have consented to the photo being used

• Use our website and services only for lawful purposes

• Not upload offensive, unlawful, infringing, abusive, or inappropriate content

• Not attempt to interfere with, copy, reverse engineer, or misuse our website, systems, or services

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order that violates these Terms or that we believe may create legal, safety, intellectual property, or operational concerns.

Photo Uploads and Custom Portrait Creation

By uploading a photo, you give Vela & Paw permission to use that photo as necessary to create your custom portrait, provide previews or proofs, process revisions, fulfill your order, provide customer support, and maintain our records.

Your uploaded photos and custom portrait files may be processed by trusted service providers that help us operate our website, create custom artwork, process orders, print products, and fulfill shipments.

You retain your rights in the original photos you upload. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to upload and use those photos.

Artistic Interpretation

Vela & Paw creates custom artwork based on the photo and product selections you provide. Because the artwork is custom and interpretive, we cannot guarantee an exact photographic reproduction of your pet.

Results may vary depending on photo quality, lighting, angle, breed, markings, fur texture, pose, and product format. Minor differences in expression, color, composition, print texture, or screen-to-print appearance are normal and are not considered defects.

Revisions

Each order includes one complimentary revision, subject to our Return & Replacement Policy.

Revision requests must be reasonable and within the original scope of the order. We may decline revision requests that require a substantially new artwork direction, a different pet, a different source photo, a different product format, or changes outside the original order.

Orders, Pricing, and Availability

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.

We may update pricing, product availability, styles, formats, promotions, and product descriptions at any time without notice. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, cancel orders affected by errors, or refuse orders at our discretion.

An order is not accepted until payment has been processed and the order has been confirmed.

Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. Vela & Paw does not store your full payment card information.

By placing an order, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

Shipping and Fulfillment

Physical products are made to order and fulfilled through production and shipping partners. Estimated processing and delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Vela & Paw is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, incorrect addresses, failed delivery attempts, or events outside our reasonable control.

Returns, Replacements, and Cancellations

Returns, replacements, revisions, refunds, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Replacement Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Because our products are personalized and made to order, most products are final sale except where required by law or where we approve a replacement, refund, or other resolution under our policy.

Intellectual Property

All website content, brand elements, product designs, templates, copy, graphics, artwork systems, and other materials on the Vela & Paw website are owned by or licensed to Vela & Paw and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, modify, or exploit our website content, brand assets, templates, systems, or product materials without written permission.

When you purchase a custom portrait, you receive a personal-use license to use the final portrait for personal, non-commercial purposes. Commercial use, resale, redistribution, or use in business branding requires prior written permission from Vela & Paw.

Customer Content and Marketing Use

We will not publicly use your uploaded pet photo, final portrait, name, review, or related content in marketing without your permission.

If you voluntarily tag us, submit a review, provide a testimonial, or give us permission to share your portrait, you grant Vela & Paw permission to display, reproduce, and share that content for marketing, website, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use our website or services to:

• Violate any law or regulation

• Infringe the rights of others

• Upload content you do not have permission to use

• Upload abusive, hateful, explicit, violent, or illegal content

• Interfere with website security or functionality

• Attempt to copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse our systems

• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our products without permission

Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website, services, and products are provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vela & Paw disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vela & Paw will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website, services, or products.

Our total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
